Few luxury vehicles include as many sophisticated technologies and innovative gadgets as General Motors' luxury brand, Cadillac!

Cadillac’s engineers are constantly pushing the boundaries of technology and making tomorrow's innovations available today. In 2018, it's the Super Cruise system available in the 2018 Cadillac CT6 that’s turning the heads of all the automotive journalists. It's the first true hands-free driving system in the world!

Innovative technologies

But many other technologies are available on all Cadillac models and it’s important to mention them in order to make your luxury car purchase with all the facts at hand.

First, cameras and ultrasonic sensors monitor the road to help keep you safe.

FRONT PEDESTRIAN DETECTION BRAKING: Alerts keep you – and pedestrians – safe.

AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST: In hands-free mode, the system automatically directs the vehicle into a parking space, while the driver selects the speed and the braking and acceleration load.

NIGHT VISION: The optional night vision system uses thermal signature technology to signal the presence of pedestrians and large animals in the front of the vehicle and warn you of possible hazards.

LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING: The Lane Keep Assist System with Lane Departure Warning, as an option, turns the steering wheel slightly if it detects that you’re veering from your lane without having signalled.

The MyCadillac app

This app is one of my favourites. It can remotely manage any Cadillac vehicle from anywhere. In addition to being able to remotely control door opening and closing, it can:

1. Send your navigation plans to the vehicle's built-in GPS

2. Recognize a parking space

3. Start vehicle, horn and headlights

4. Give you real-time vehicle condition data including fuel level and tire pressure

Wireless charging station: you had to be thinking about it!

All Cadillac vehicles are equipped with wireless charging stations ... No need for a complicated connection system, no more broken wires ... As soon as the vehicle is running, your smartphone is in charging mode!
