Cadillac’s history stretches back to 1902, which means 2027 marks 125 years for the brand. To open the celebration, Cadillac picked its flagship SUV. The 2027 Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series made its debut in October 2026, and it is the first Escalade ever to join Cadillac’s Collector Series.
The timing makes sense for Canadian Escalade fans. Cadillac Canada recorded its best-ever year for Escalade-V series sales in 2025, and this anniversary edition builds on that momentum. Below, we explain what a Collector Series is, why the Escalade-V earned the honour and what to know before ordering opens.
What Is a Cadillac Collector Series?
Cadillac has been building Collector Series models since 2022. Each one is a limited edition tied to a milestone, a design story or a racing achievement. Each edition adds exclusive design details and is built in limited numbers.
Earlier editions include the Petit Pataud and Le Monstre Collector Series models. The 2026 CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series carried the tradition forward by linking Cadillac performance to the brand’s entry into Formula 1®. Until now, the Escalade had never been part of the group.
Why the Escalade-V Got the Call
The Escalade is Cadillac’s flagship, and the Escalade-V is its most powerful gas version. That made it a natural choice for a 125th anniversary model.
“The Escalade-V Collector Series 125th Anniversary Edition celebrates Cadillac’s heritage and our uncompromising approach to performance luxury,” said Kristian Aquilina, Vice President, Global Cadillac.
Under the hood sits a 6.2 L supercharged V8 engine rated at 682 hp and 653 lb-ft of torque. It works with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Magnetic Ride Control and Adaptive Air Ride Suspension help the Escalade-V stay smooth over rough pavement, while front six-piston Brembo performance brakes handle stopping duties. It is a full-size, seven-passenger SUV with the muscle of a V-Series car.
A Number for Every Year of Cadillac History
Production is limited to 252 units for the United States and Canada. Cadillac will build the Collector Series in two exclusive exterior colours: Midnight Stone Frost and Vibrant White Tricoat.
Within each colour, vehicles are labelled from 1902 to 2027. Each serial number stands for one year in Cadillac’s 125-year story. Buyers will have the option to choose their VIN and serial number, which lets an owner match the vehicle to a year with personal meaning.
Collector Details Inside and Out
Cadillac gave this edition a long list of exclusive pieces. The standout is Santorini Blue, a colour inspired by the blue in the V-Series emblem’s Mondrian pattern. It first appeared on the Cadillac Project GTP concept and has since been used on V-Series race cars, road cars and concepts. On the Collector Series, it becomes the defining interior accent.
Here is what sets this Escalade-V apart:
- Unique forged 24-inch wheels
- Carbon fibre grille surround, lower rear fascia, mirror caps and engine cover
- Blue brake calipers, dark-finish badges and Heritage V-8 puddle lamps
- Black and Sheer Gray two-tone interior with Santorini Blue stitching
- Santorini Blue seat belts and unique illuminated sill plates
- Exclusive interior badging, Collector Series floor mats and a blue key fob
