Discovering the Celestiq

On October 17, 2022, Cadillac unveiled the Celestiq, a fully electric, custom-built luxury sedan. Cadillac released a video in collaboration with Lenny Kravitz where you can see the Celestiq from all angles.

Cadillac wants to once again become the "Standard of the World" with its new sedan with a futuristic design that leaves a striking impression and represents luxury and opulence. The Celestiq will therefore be built to order and bespoke, so that owners can personalize their vehicle according to their own tastes and needs. “Each vehicle is a unique expression of its owner, leveraging advanced technologies that make the driving experience personal and rewarding,” said Rory Harvey, vice president of Cadillac.

A bold design

The Celestiq offers us a futuristic exterior design, a striking silhouette that will leave a lasting impression and a spectacular design at the rear with its large lights.

We can see several metal elements that are made of real metal, including the grille, the sides of the body, the taillight and headlight trim, and the tailgate opening.

Note that the handles for opening and closing the doors have been replaced by buttons, in order to give a more fluid appearance. Additionally, when the owner approaches their Celestiq, a choreography of lights will begin.

23-inch aluminum wheels in several colors will be available, followed by Michelin sidewall tires adorned with the Cadillac emblem.

A futuristic interior

The interior of the Celestiq is intended to draw inspiration from the architectural designs of Eero Saarinen, a famous designer during the 1950s who notably designed the building of the GM Technical Center.
Almost all in red leather, the cabin of the Celestiq is spacious and has several screens, including a 55-inch infotainment screen and three other screens in the rear for passengers.

For maximum comfort, the driver can adjust the ambient lighting as desired thanks to the LED lighting system on the doors.

With 41 speakers, everyone will be able to enjoy an exceptional sound experience and will be immersed in an atmosphere worthy of a concert hall.

Driver and passengers will also be able to enjoy a four-zone fixed smart glass roof that features a luminous choreography of 450 LED lights, to create the atmosphere of their choice.

Performance

The Celestiq will therefore be the second vehicle from the luxury brand to be powered by GM's Ultium platform and also to use the next generation of the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system.
The 111 kWh battery pack will be paired with two all-wheel-drive motors that will develop around 600 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. Also, the range is estimated at 483 km/h for a full charge.

The Celestiqs will be produced at the GM Technical Center in Warren, Michigan from December 2023. Only a few copies are produced, take action and reserve yours now at Cadillac Ile Perrot.
