Production of the 2023 Cadillac XT6 will begin soon!

Presented at the North American International Auto Show in January 2019 and released in June 2019 with its 2020 model year, the Cadillac XT6 is a seven-seater luxury crossover SUV. The third and largest crossover in the XT series, the 2023 XT6 will be the fourth model year of this first-generation SUV.

According to GM, production of the 2023 Cadillac XT6 should officially begin on June 10, 2022, again at the GM plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

What's new for the 2023 model

Although the 2023 XT6 will only get a few updates over the 2022 model, GM has decided to introduce three new exterior paint colors, namely the Radiant Red Tintcoat, Opulent Blue Metallic and Silver Gray Metallic. However, these three new colors will replace the Satin Steel Metallic, Dark Blue Moon Metallic and Infrared Tintcoat that were available on the 2022 model year.

Performance

Remember that the 2022 XT6 is offered in two engine options, with a 2.0L I4 LSY turbocharged gasoline engine that develops 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. For its part, the version with the 3.6L LGX V6 gasoline engine develops 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. Note that the Cadillac XT6 runs on the GM C1 platform and that front and all-wheel drive are also available as options.
