Unveiling of the 2020 Cadillac XT6

A new and spacious SUV adds to the Cadillac lineup, the XT6 2020.

The 2020 Cadillac XT6 was unveiled for the first time on January 13th, as part of the North America International Auto Show in Detroit. A month later, Cadillac officially unveiled for the Canadian market at the Canadian Auto Show in Toronto.

This spacious new model with three rows of seating fits between the XT5 and the Cadillac Iconic Escalade.

For Cadillac, the release of the XT6 is an opportunity to enter a fast growing segment of the industry.

" Cadillac XT6 is for families that refuse to sacrifice style or luxury. It’s full of thoughtful details insuring that every seat is the best seat in the house ", said Cadillac President Steve Carlisle at the unveiling.

" The first-ever Cadillac XT6 drives into a fast-growing segment with class-leading spaciousness, safety and convenience ", said James Nava, national marketing manager, Cadillac Canada.

Customize your XT6

The XT6 will be available in two separate versions, Sport and Premium Luxury. The Sport version features more aggressive styling elements and carbon fiber accents inside. This version includes 21-inch roads; a first for a Cadillac SUV.

For its part, the Premium Luxury version focuses on elegance and cutting edge connectivity technologies.

Both versions can be upgraded with the Platinum package, and offer a 310 horsepower V6 engine (271 lb-ft) and a 9-speed automatic transmission, compared to 8-speed for the XT5.
