Mike Matheson joins our team of Cadillac Ambassadors

Cadillac Chevrolet Buick GMC de l'Ile Perrot is pleased to welcome the hockey player Mike Matheson, defenceman of the Montreal Canadiens, to its ambassador team.

Native from the West Island, he began his career at the junior level with the Lions du Lac Saint-Louis team where he played for 2 seasons. During the 2011-2012 season, when he was playing for the Fighting Saints de Duburque team of the United States Hockey League, he was invited to the first round of the NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers. Matheson will therefore be part of the team until September 2020, to then join the Pittsburgh Penguins.

After more than 100 games played with Pittsburgh, Matheson returns to his roots by joining the Montreal Canadiens team, where he will proudly wear #8 during the 2022-2023 season.

Currently, in training camp, the defender is working hard to be ready for the next NHL season. Stay tuned, it's on October 12th that we will have the chance to see Matheson play his first game with the Montreal Canadiens.
