The Celestiq is finally unveiled

After more than two years of waiting, on July 22, GM officially unveiled its all-new, all-electric luxury sedan, the Cadillac Celestiq. Cadillac offers us a futuristic design, a striking silhouette that will leave a lasting impression and declares that the Celestiq will redefine the standards of the automobile (The Standard of the World).
For the moment, the Celestiq has been introduced as a presentation model, which means that the production version could have some differences. Additionally, Cadillac has confirmed that the production of the Celestiq will take place at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. Note that this will be the first production vehicle to be built in this location since 1956.

An exterior reminiscent of sedans of yesteryear
The Celestiq offers us a futuristic exterior design, a striking silhouette that will leave a striking impression and brilliantly marry the look of American sedans of yesteryear with the angular appearance of today's cars for maximum aerodynamics.
Moreover, the designers were inspired by several elements of the Cadillac Eldorado Brougham 1957 when developing the design of the Celestiq. Cadillac also mentioned that it wanted to give a modern and timeless design to the Celestiq and especially that this sedan embodies great luxury and American prestige.

Performance
The Celestiq will therefore be the second vehicle from the luxury brand to be powered by GM's Ultium platform and also to use the next generation of the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system. For the moment Cadillac has not announced any technical data, but we can estimate that the Celestiq will be able to travel more than 600 kilometers on a full charge.

An elegant interior
The interior of the Celestiq is intended to draw inspiration from the architectural designs of Eero Saarinen, a famous stylist during the 1950s who notably designed the building of the GM Technical Center.
Almost all in red leather, the cabin of the Celestiq is spacious and has several screens. For maximum comfort, the driver can adjust the ambient lighting as desired thanks to the LED lighting system on the doors.
Note that the infotainment screen runs the full width of the vehicle and that two separate seats have been installed in the back to recreate the feeling of being in a jet.

The Celestiq will be produced in only a few copies, so take action and reserve yours right away at Cadillac Ile Perrot. We'll keep you posted on new developments regarding the production model unveiling.
